Have A Rose by Any Other Name Day

So it was Tuesday, back from a long weekend. I should feel rested right? Eh, I was half way there...but I still needed a little incentive to keep myself from running back to bed. So, I decided it called for another outfit that wears like pajamas.

Tunic - Boutique in OBX; Lace Tank - Target; Leggings - Torrid; Kitten Heels - Ross
Here is one other tunic that I purchased from that boutique at the beach. This one is a mesh kind of material, very lightweight and very comfortable. My number one rule of wearing an pajama inspired outfit is it must have leggings! Any other bottom really just does not feel like pajamas. Well, other than actual pj pants. But I digress. Because of this rule, I knew I had to start my outfit with my choice of leggings. Once I decided on brown, this tunic was an easy decision. I'm sure it would look good paired with black too, but I felt it was just begging me to wear it with my brown leggings.

From there it was just deciding on what tank to wear underneath the tunic. I felt like going pretty in pink. I also was not feeling how my hair turned out that day, so I needed a hair accessory (like pretty much always right?). Well how could a fuchsia rose not brighten my day? Then came the shoes....ugh! As I've mentioned, I do find it a bit challenging dressing my feet on days that I wear leggings. However, yesterday was warmer than it's been lately, so I could get away with bare feet. I hadn't worn these shoes in a while, and I was happy with how they looked with the rest of the outfit. I really wish you could see the details on these shoes better. They have woven leather across the toes and a cute little bow to top it off! I really love the textural look from the woven leather.

A little side note - the name of this post came to mind after seeing the BF's mom last night. The first thing she said to me was, "A rose by any other name..." :) She's so cute. I think the rose was successful in helping to brighten her day too.
