Have A Welcome Back Day

Ack! It's been too long since I've posted and for that I am sorry. I really have no excuse. I've been stressed lately with work and classes and really life in general. To be honest all I've wanted to do in what little free time I've had lately is read. I've been reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy by Stieg Larsson and it's been quite gripping. I just started the final book, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I've really enjoyed reading Larsson's books. It's really sad that there will never be anything more written from him, he was a very talented author. Anyway, reading aside, I should have followed through on my blogging. So here I am, back to make up for it!

Ruched Sleeve Teal Top - Kohl's; Jumper Dress - Target; Leggings - Target; Gold & Black Sparkly Belt - Target; Studded Peep Toes - Payless

This top layers really well beneath the jumper. It's a solid color and the detailing on the sleeves plays off really nicely with the straps of the jumper. I definitely prefer belting the jumper and I like how the black & gold belt kind of matches the metallic buttons on the jumper. Leggings are quickly becoming a winter staple of mine. I don't know how I got along before without them honestly. They are just so much warmer than jeans or tights. And I absolutely love how the only real pattern in this outfit is found in my nylon socks! I am really happy with this look and can easily put this on the list of outfits I could wear every day.
